Amazon Lifestyle has a new store out, and it’s all about smaller/less well known beauty brands. This is truly the moment we have been waiting for, you guys. For skincare, makeup, and hair lovers alike, this new Indie Beauty shop will be your go-to for discovering incredible products. I’m not sure about you, but I love coming upon quality brands I’ve never heard of!
It’s so much fun to find a new product, or products that you would have never found otherwise. Amazon’s new Indie Beauty store helps you do just that!! Through my influencer network, Palm, I had the opportunity to try an exclusive curated box from Amazon Indie Beauty earlier this month!
My box was AMAZING! Let me just tell you… It included three Indie Beauty products, an Amazon sticker AND an Amazon pop socket. Not to mention, it was all gorgeously packaged.

Snow Fox Skincare Day & Night Defense Cream ($55)
This. Stuff. Is. Life. Changing. If you know me, you know I have fallen in love with all things skin care. I talked a little bit about it in my Summer Favorites post, but I have a big skincare post coming soon, so stay tuned. And expect to see this stuff again. It’s AMAZING. I know it’s a little pricey, but it is SO worth the splurge! It’s a multi-use product, so you could potentially use it in place of multiple products. It’s a defense cream, so I’ve been putting it on in the mornings, to help protect my face from all of the harsh pollutants in the air and other particles that may get into my pores. Not only does it protect, but it does a great job keeping my skin hydrated all day long.
Additionally, the packaging encourages using it as a primer or to mix it in with your foundation. I usually don’t wear makeup on a daily basis, but this week I had two business meetings, so on both days I used the Defense Cream as my primer, and WOW! First of all, whether using it alone or with makeup, this cream absorbs instantly. It doesn’t leave any streaks anywhere. Secondly, because of this, using it as a primer is a whole new ballgame! I knew I was protecting and hydrating my skin, while priming it for a bunch of makeup (which I hate wearing!!) But I feel better knowing there’s a solid layer of protection under all that foundation & powder!

The Gnarly Whale Beach Waves Hair Spray ($15)
And the award for best smelling hair spray goes to…..!!! I love this stuff. I’ve only used it once (mostly due to my shower schedule) but I love it. As the bottle says, it smells like coconut milk and peaches! It’s soooo yummy. And it couldn’t be easier to use! “Spray liberally over wet hair, let dry, and rock those waves!” The next time I shower in the morning I plan on using it again. I love having that beachy-wave look, especially without having to try haha.
After receiving the product I decided to look up the Gnarly Whale website and see what other products they have. I was BLOWN AWAY. They have SO MANY PRODUCTS and SO MANY different scents. Omg. Y’all think I’m exaggerating, but I am not. You can get this exact beach waves hair spray in strawberry, watermelon, cotton candy, maple, lemon, orange, peppermint, bubblegum, cherry almond, lavender, lemongrass, mango, birthday cake, pineapple & ginger, caramel pecan, pumpkin, vanilla chai, and MORE! The list goes on & on. The same goes for their body wash!! In fact, my birthday is coming up, I might treat myself to a matching coconut milk & peaches body wash to go with my spray! Yum!

Laguna Herbals Mineral Bath Infusion ($22)
Okay, so, full disclosure. I haven’t tried this yet, but I swear y’all, I have had NO time to take a bath… Hopefully I will this weekend! This bath infusion is made up of black lava salt infused with activated charcoal, and a therapeutic blend of essential oils. It helps increase blood circulation and it has a detoxifying effect on the body, as it draws out impurities. The oils help bath away feelings of stress and tension. After this busy week, I NEED some of that! It also smells amazing! My scent is called TRANQUIL, and it’s a mix of patchouli and mint.
The brand, Laguna Herbals, also sells other organic face, bath, and body products, including organic sunscreen! They have toners, eye-balms, face mists, sugar scrubs, nail restorations, body oils, and so much more! The bath infusion that I have also comes in many other scents and salts. The DREAM infusion is made with blue atlantic sea salt and it smells like chamomile and lavender. The LOVE infusion is made of pink himalayan salt, and it smells like lavender and ylang ylang.
