June. Wow. We are halfway through 2018 already. On one hand, it feels like it flew by. On the other, it feels like it’s been half a year already. Despite what it feels like, though, it’s here. So it’s time to kiss May goodbye, and usher in June. May was a crazy month. I spent it resting in in the between. In between graduation. In between packing. In between leaving for LA, and starting my internship. It was a fun & CRAZY month, and now I am ready for the new beginning that is June.
I will be spending this month focusing on exploring. Exploring LA, exploring what it means to be an intern, to work hard, to pay my dues… Exploring what it’s like to work in this industry, to connect with people. I spent last night at an amazing art gallery opening at the ENTITY Headquarters. It was for a celebrity photographer, and it was amazing. We ate gold-coated vegan sushi, Lady Gaga’s hat was up for auction, and so much more. It was also the official “launch” party for the internship. There couldn’t have been a more perfect way to spend the evening transitioning from May to June.
