As you probably know by now, I am absolutely IN LOVE with OTBT shoes. I have worked with them five times now, and have received so many above and beyond gifts from them! The biggest thing for me about OTBT is how truly COMFORTABLE their shoes are [not to mention, stylish.] For example, this past weekend, I was in NYC to apartment hunt and I packed only three pair of shoes for the entire weekend. I packed my Normcores, my Unisons, and my Jaunt wedges for dinner at night. Both sneakers served me well walking all over Manhattan and Brooklyn for four days straight.
Anyway, that’s my intro to OTBT, but this installment is about a different pair of shoes, the classic and iconic Bushnell wedge, which OTBT is celebrating because it’s officially six years old!
The Bushnell is truly “America’s Favorite Wedge” and I couldn’t have been more excited to get my hands on a pair! My “OTBT Story” is one that is very special to me. I’ve been wearing OTBTs since junior year Homecoming, which was right after I started dating Ryan. He was at school in my hometown, Orlando, while I was in school at the University of Alabama. For the next three years [ I stayed for grad school] we would date long distance, and fly back and forth to each other, meet in the middle, and plan trips together as often as we could. OTBT got to be a part of that, and truly helped me take my relationship Off The Beaten Track.
My OTBTs have see the sky more times than any other pair of shoes. They’ve flown from Orlando to Alabama, from Alabama to Orlando, to Atlanta, to the beach, to the mountains, to the city… In May, they took me to my graduation for my master’s degree and earlier this month, they got to see Ryan graduate from UCF🎓
These shoes have played a very special role in my life, and in my relationship. And in less than two weeks, they’re going to take me the furthest “off the beaten track” I’ve ever gone… at the end of this month Ryan and I will be moving to New York City to start the next chapter of our lives!! I’ve enjoyed wearing my Bushnells all summer but I know they’re excited about the adventure that lies ahead… and I can’t wait to rock these stunning platform wedges in the Big Apple! ♡
