Hey guys! As many of you probably know, I was recently offered the opportunity to try Rocksbox for three months! For those of you who don’t know, and/or are wondering what Rocksbox is, it’s a subscription service for designer jewelry! For $21 a month, you receive three pieces of jewelry (Kendra Scott, Loren Hope, Kate Spade, etc.) to wear, style, and enjoy for as long as you’d like. Then you can either return the box, or buy the piece(s) that you just can’t bear to part with. (You also receive $21 of “Shine Credit” per month, so you get a discount off the designer price!)
I was so excited to give this service a try, as I A) can’t afford designer jewelry and B) love to mix and match and experiment, without having to purchase. So renting jewelry for as long as I want sounded like a pretty sweet deal. And it has been!
From the moment the box arrived, I knew this was going to be true love. It starts with a beautifully tied ribbon, and gorgeous patterned tissue paper inside. Then there is a sweet note from your personal stylist (Mine is Rachel!) explaining how she picked your pieces and why you will love them! Here is what I got in my first set:
So, this necklace was perfect because it’s super adjustable. My favorite way to wear it was as a choker. I wore it above my everyday black Kendra Scott and I LOVED THEM together! They looked great with every outfit I tried them with. It’s a perfect addition necklace for when you’re looking for a little more flair with your necklaces. I really wanted to keep it…
The earrings were my “Granted Wish”! I put them on the wish list I made when I first signed up. (You are encouraged to put at least 30 items on your wish list, so your Personal Stylist has an idea of what you like! However, you also fill out an entire style profile before finishing the signing up process, so, don’t worry, they really do have a good idea of what type of jewelry you are into.)
I was also in love with the cuff. When I first opened the box I was shocked! I had never seen anything like it. However after putting it on for .4 seconds, I was hooked. It looked great alone, it looked great stacked. It’s a statement, yet simple. I was OBSESSED with it! Still am! It was extremely hard to decide if I should purchase it or not. I really loved wearing it and did not want to have to say goodbye:(
Another cool feature of this company, is that you can upload photos of an outfit you need help with styling. For example, if you are going to a wedding, you can upload a photo of your dress, and your personal stylist will know exactly which pieces to send you to help rock that dress perfectly!
So, as you can see, with my first box, I did not end up purchasing any of my pieces. However, after rating my items and giving feedback, my stylist had an even better understanding of what I was looking for, and sent me my next set, which arrived just two days after I sent back my first one. (They are so fast, I swear!)

The day my box arrived, I went down to the mail desk of my apartment building before I even got an email from them. I said “hey, rocksbox just emailed me that it arrived, would you mind grabbing it??” bc it was gameday and I couldn’t WAIT to get my hands on the Aster earrings. I mean, look at them.. !!! I wore them to the football game that night, and have been so excited to wear them again since. I also can’t WAIT to wear the Slate choker this weekend… my parents are coming to visit and that means I actually have a reason to dress up for dinner, so I am PUMPED! Be sure to keep an eye on IG and my stories for how I style these babies. I am for sure going to use my November monthly Shine Credit toward one of these pieces and treat myself, I just haven’t decided which piece yet!
